Company Profile
 Electronic
Trading Solutions is based in the "Geldenhuys Farmhouse", the original
homestead of the farm Braamfontein and the oldest house in Johannesburg.
The company was originally established to develop and market,
both within South Africa and abroad, the electronic banking front end and
"middleware" systems that are currently marketed under the product
banner of BANK@ease.
In December 1996, ETS' first client, Mercantile Lisbon Bank,
was sufficiently impressed by the systems functionality, user friendly interface
and market potential, to acquire a 49% stake in the company. After a
mutually beneficial partnership that lasted until February 2002, the company's
principal, from the outset, Leonard Stoch re-purchased Mercantile's shares to
once again gain sole ownership of the company.
